Vignesh Girishankar

Act I: The Catalyst

Vignesh Girishankar graduated in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, in 2005. An exceptional product visionary with a deep eye for minimalist user experience, workflow psychology, and clean interface design, Vignesh co-founded Konotor alongside Srikrishnan Ganesan in 2015. Following Konotor's acquisition by Freshworks, Vignesh spent five years leading core product suites at Freshworks, mastering the craft of building enterprise software that users actually loved using.

Act II: The Genesis Bet

In 2020, Vignesh joined forces with Srikrishnan to build Rocketlane. As Chief Product Officer, Vignesh took on the design challenge of solving one of the most frustrating problems in business: cross-organizational collaboration. Unlike internal project management tools like Asana or Jira, Rocketlane had to serve two distinct audiences simultaneously—the internal software implementation team and the external enterprise client—with granular privacy controls, shared dashboards, and zero friction.

Act III: Zero-to-One PMF

Vignesh designed Rocketlane's breakthrough feature: 'Private vs. Shared' workspaces. In a single click, an implementation manager could collaborate privately with their team on internal tasks and budget margins, while exposing clean, polished project milestones to the client in the same view. This elegant design insight eliminated the need for duplicate spreadsheets and won over thousands of product and services managers worldwide.

Act IV: The Flywheel of Scale

Vignesh oversaw the rapid expansion of Rocketlane's product capabilities: integrating time-tracking, resource management, automated client status reports, and native integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Jira, and Slack. His product leadership enabled Rocketlane to comfortably win category leader awards across G2 and Gartner, scaling enterprise customers across 30+ countries.

Act V: Crucible of Fire & Inflection Points

As artificial intelligence began transforming software workflows, Vignesh led the rapid deployment of Rocketlane AI: automating meeting notes, generating project templates from customer contracts, and identifying project delay risks before they impacted client launch dates.

Act VI: Ecosystem Architecture

Vignesh Girishankar has set a benchmark for world-class B2B product design emerging from India. He actively mentors product managers and design founders, championing consumer-grade user experiences in complex enterprise software.

Act VII: The Long Horizon

Vignesh is architecting the next generation of autonomous client portal intelligence. His vision is to turn every client engagement into a frictionless, transparent, and collaborative experience, setting the global standard for professional services software.
