Born and raised in Darjeeling, West Bengal, Aditi Bhutia Madan learned traditional Himalayan cooking from her grandmother, mastering the art of handcrafted dumplings using fresh mountain vegetables and native spices. Moving to New Delhi, Madan was appalled by the poor hygienic conditions, synthetic MSG additives, and thick rubbery dough characterizing typical street-side momos in Indian cities.
In 2016, Madan founded Bluepine Foods and its retail brand Yangkiez by Momo Mami. She developed proprietary frozen dough formulations that preserved the authentic Himalayan thin-crust texture without artificial chemical preservatives.
On Shark Tank India Season 1, Madan delivered one of the season's most celebrated food pitches, securing ₹75 Lakhs from three sharks: Aman Gupta, Ashneer Grover, and Vineeta Singh. Today, Bluepine Foods operates large-scale commercial kitchens, supplying frozen momos and spring rolls to cinema chains, five-star hotels, and thousands of supermarket freezers.
