In late 2020, 21-year-old Anuvrat Jain decided to validate a culinary hypothesis: that while Indians loved cafe-style rich European hot chocolate, instant supermarket powders tasted like watery, artificial sugar.
With just ₹30,000 in savings, Jain sourced high-grade cocoa from farm estates in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, prepared a steaming vat of thick hot chocolate, and stood outside a crowded metro station in Agra, serving passersby in paper cups. Within 50 days, Jain had sold over 11,000 cups entirely by hand.
Joined by co-founder Poorvi Goyal, Tiggle evolved into a packaged D2C brand offering Dark and Jaggery hot chocolate mixes with clean, preservative-free ingredients. On Shark Tank India Season 3, their infectious energy and viral community traction won a ₹50 Lakh deal from Amit Jain. Tiggle has served over 500,000 cups to hot chocolate lovers across 20,000 pin codes.
