Karoli Hindriks demonstrated an irrepressible entrepreneurial spirit from childhood. At 16, she patented a soft reflective badge to improve pedestrian safety in dark Nordic winters, scaling it into a successful youth company. Hindriks went on to lead international television channels in the Baltics, including MTV and Fox Channels, before turning to global labor mobility.
In 2014, Hindriks founded Jobbatical in Tallinn. Experiencing firsthand how arduous, bureaucratic, and paper-intensive it was for technology companies to hire top software talent across borders, Hindriks evolved Jobbatical into an end-to-end relocation management SaaS.
Jobbatical builds intelligent automation that handles visas, immigration legalities, tax registrations, and logistics in over 30 countries. Backed by AirTree Ventures, Inventure, and Union Square Ventures, Hindriks has relocated thousands of specialized tech professionals across continents.
