Born in Toulouse, Céline Lazorthes studied at the Paris Graduate School of Digital Innovation (EPITA) and HEC Paris. In 2008, while organizing an orientation weekend for fellow HEC students, Lazorthes struggled to collect cash from dozens of classmates. The frustration inspired her to build Leetchi.com in 2009, an online money pot where communities pooled funds for gifts, charity, and events.
To power Leetchi's transactions, Lazorthes engineered MANGOPAY in 2012, a B2B payment API customized for marketplaces and crowdfunding platforms. In 2015, Arkéa acquired both companies in a landmark European exit. Lazorthes stayed on as CEO before turning her focus toward healthcare.
In 2021, partnering with Dr. Nicolas Wolikow and leading oncology institute Gustave Roussy, Lazorthes co-founded Resilience. Resilience built an advanced remote patient monitoring medical device and app that tracks cancer symptoms, predicting adverse reactions and dramatically improving survival rates.
