Frustrated by the lack of safe, dermatologically formulated, vibrant semi-permanent hair dyes in the Indian beauty market, Yushika Jolly founded Paradyes alongside Siddharth Raghuvanshi in 2020. Her mission was to dismantle cultural stigmas around hair coloring while eliminating harmful ammonia, parabens, and bleach damage.
On Shark Tank India Season 2, Jolly and Raghuvanshi delivered one of the most hotly contested pitches in the show's history, sparking a competitive bidding war between Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, and Peyush Bansal. They ultimately closed a joint deal with Aman Gupta and Vineeta Singh for ₹65 Lakh for 2% equity at a ₹32.5 Crore valuation.
Following the telecast, Paradyes expanded into major beauty retailers like Nykaa, Tira, and Shoppers Stop, cementing its status as the definitive youth beauty brand for creative hair color in South Asia.
