Florian Douetteau began his journey as a mathematical and computer prodigy at École Normale Supérieure (ENS), studying mathematics and computer science. In 2000, Douetteau joined Exalead, an enterprise search and indexing engine pioneer where he spent a decade as Vice President of Research & Development until its $160 million acquisition by Dassault Systèmes.
Recognizing that enterprise organizations were drowning in disconnected data silos and lacking collaborative tooling between data scientists, business analysts, and machine learning engineers, Douetteau co-founded Dataiku in Paris in 2013 alongside Clément Stenac, Thomas Cabrol, and Marc Batty.
Dataiku created the concept of 'Everyday AI,' engineering an integrated workspace where technical data practitioners and non-technical business managers collaborate on predictive models, data pipelines, and generative AI deployments. Headquartered in New York with origins in Paris, Dataiku serves hundreds of Fortune 500 corporations including General Electric, Unilever, and Pfizer.
