In 2005, Lore co-founded Quidsi (parent of Diapers.com), building automated robotic warehouses and selling to Amazon for $545 million. In 2014, he founded Jet.com to challenge Amazon using dynamic basket re-pricing, selling Jet.com to Walmart in 2016 for $3.3 billion and serving as CEO of Walmart eCommerce U.S. for five years.
Founding Wonder & Telosa
In 2021, Lore founded foodtech super-app Wonder, raised over $1.5 billion, acquired Grubhub for $650M, and announced Telosa—a $400 billion vision for a futuristic equitable city in the American desert.
