Growing up in a farming family in rural Malegaon, Kamlesh witnessed his father and fellow village farmers endure severe spinal injuries, chronic fatigue, and toxic pesticide inhalation from carrying heavy 30-liter manual spray tanks on their backs for hours in blazing heat.
Over seven years of relentless trial and error using recycled scrap bicycle frames, lawnmower engines, and manual hand levers, Kamlesh constructed a lightweight multi-purpose spraying and trolley device (Bharat K2). On Shark Tank India Season 1, his humbleness, raw passion, and dedication to alleviating farmer pain brought Shark Peyush Bansal (CEO of Lenskart) to invest ₹10 Lakh for 40% equity and extend a ₹20 Lakh flexible debt loan.
With Bansal's engineering incubation, Kamlesh redesigned the cart into a mass-manufactured, solar-assisted, ergonomic agricultural implement deployed across farms in Maharashtra and beyond.
